The 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards will take place on January 4, 2026 starting at 7 p.m. ET live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
Who is Hosting the Critics Choice Awards?
Comedian and actor Chelsea Handler will host the Critics Choice Awards for the fourth year in a row, bringing her one-of-a-kind sense of humor to the stage to honor the best of the year in cinema, television and streaming.
2025 Top TV & Film Nominations
Each year, the Critics Choice Association honors the highest achievements in film and television from the previous year, and 2025 is expected to be a highly competitive field.
Leading the film nominations with an astounding 17 nominations is Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, followed by the acclaimed One Battle After Another from Paul Thomas Anderson with 14. Behind those films are Frankenstein and Hamnet, each with 11 nominations.
For television, the hard-hitting limited series Adolescence received six nominations, followed by Netflix’s Nobody Wants This with five.
