Toronto Blue Jays 2026 TV Schedule & Season Info

The Toronto Blue Jays fell just one game short of a World Series championship in one of the most impressive post-season runs in franchise history. They won their first AL East Championship in more than a decade and reached the World Series for the first time since 1993.

After missing the playoffs in 2024, the Blue Jays took Major League Baseball’s juggernaut, the Los Angeles Dodgers, to extra innings in Game Seven and delivered one of the greatest World Series in recent memory.

Heading into 2026, this is a team that once again aspires to a deep postseason run, but there’s a chance they’re about to learn the same lesson that so many teams that make a World Series run learn: It’s tough to do it twice in a row.

Fortunately, they have one of the best hitters in baseball, Vlad Guerrero Jr., a solid pitching staff and one of the deepest teams in baseball. They’ll look different this season, but the pieces are certainly in place for the Blue Jays to contend once again.

Toronto Blue Jays 2026 Schedule

The Blue Jays will be competing in one of the deepest divisions in baseball. They’ll likely need to contend with the Red Sox and Yankees to win the AL East crown and possibly even the Rays and Orioles, who are both looking for bounce back seasons.

Lucky for Toronto, their first three opening series are against teams that missed the playoffs by a wide stretch last season. They open with the Athletics before getting the Colorado Rockies and Chicago White Sox, two of the MLB’s worst teams last season.

Games without national networks listed are typically available to watch on the team’s RSN, local streaming channel or MLB.tv team channel.

How to Watch the Toronto Blue Jays in 2026

When you can make it to the ballpark, there are many ways to watch the full Toronto Blue Jays schedule. Whether you have a sports package or not, you can catch as many MLB games as possible via sports streaming or on satellite. Below are a few places where you can watch the Blue Jays.

How did the Blue Jays do in 2025?

The Blue Jays put together one of the best seasons in Major League Baseball in 2026. They led the major leagues in hits, were third in batting average and on base percentage, and top five in runs and OPS. They won the AL East despite a below average ERA from their pitching staff on the season that was top 10 in home runs allowed.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had a solid regular season with 96 runs scored, 34 doubles and 23 home runs to go along with a .381 on base percentage. But it was in the playoffs is when he truly came alive: He batted .397 in their post-season run and hit more home runs than he was struck out with a incredible 1.289 OPS. Guerrero will once again be the focal point of this Blue Jays offense.

George Springer put together his best season since 2022, batting .309 with 32 home runs, 84 RBIs and 18 stolen bases and a .399 on base percentage. Springer shifted largely to DH and finished seventh in the MVP voting and earned his third career Silver Slugger.

Springer was also massive in the playoffs, with four home runs, 10 RBIs and a .284 average. More than half of Springer’s hits went for extra bases.

Bo Bichette had a huge bounce back campaign. For a large stretch of the season, he led Major League Baseball in hits. Until a knee sprain at the end of the season, he was looking like the AL batting champ.

After an abysmal 2024 that saw him appear in just 81 games, Bichette returned to his All-Star form. Even with his injury, he batted .348 with six RBIs in their playoff run.

Ernie Clement turned into one of the best utility players in baseball in just his second full season in the majors. Clement batted .277 with 35 doubles, 83 runs and just 61 strikeouts. In the playoffs, he batted a team best .411 with a .416 on base percentage. He led the team with a .562 slugging percentage, repeatedly coming up clutch for the Jays.

Alejandro Kirk made his first All-Star team since 2022, hitting .282 with a career high 15 home runs and 76 runs batted in to make his second all-star appearance. Kirk was also exceptional in the playoffs, hitting five home runs in just 18 games.

Daulton Varsho missed much of the season but still hit 20 home runs in 71 games and posted a .548 slugging percentage. The Jays hope the Gold Glove center fielder can get on base more often and turn himself into an all-star player.

In the rotation, Kevin Gausman led the way with a 10-11 record and a 3.59 ERA and pitched very well in the playoffs with a 2.93 ERA across 30 innings pitched.

Eric Lauer started just 15 games but went 9-2 with a 3.18 ERA. Chris Bassitt went 11-9 with a 3.96 ERA.

But in the playoffs, the story of their pitching staff was 21-year-old Trey Yesavage, who had started just three games in the regular season before emerging as an ace.

Yesavage went 3-1 with a 3.58 ERA across 27 innings in the playoffs, striking out 39 in just 27 innings pitched. He’ll get the opportunity to start the season with the big-league club and establish himself as one of the game’s premier young arms.

Best Blue Jays Players in 2026

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., First Base

Vladdy Jr. came in as one of the most hyped players of all time. His first two seasons got off to a shaky start, but since 2021 he’s made five straight All-Star games.

Since his breakout in 2021, when he led the majors in runs and home runs and the American League in just about every advanced batting metric, he has been one of the best hitters in baseball.

It was in Toronto’s postseason run that he put the league and the baseball world on notice. In 18 games, he hit eight home runs with 15 RBIs. He slashed .397/.494/.795. He walked 14 times, more than double the number of times that he struck out. He was among the best hitters on one of the best teams left in the post-season and made a case for the most outstanding player in last year’s playoffs, winning the ALCS MVP.

Guerrero is just entering his prime and it’ll be exciting to see what he does in 2026.

Dylan Cease

Toronto’s major signing in the offseason was Dylan Cease, who they signed to a seven-year, $210 million deal.

Cease had a down year by his standards in 2025, but he still struck out 200 batters for the fifth straight season. The Blue Jays hope that a change of scenery and some work with their pitching staff can help rein in some of Cease’s control issues. Cease gave up a career high 21 home runs.

Kazuma Okamoto

Okamoto was signed from the Japanese baseball league where he played for the Yomiuri Giants. Okamoto has displayed 40 homer power, regularly slugging over .500 and getting on base.

The hope is that Okamoto can slide in for the offensive impact of Bichette. If he’s able to, that provides a huge boost for this Blue Jays team who are looking to maintain the momentum of last year’s incredible run.

Addison Barger

In his first full season with the club, Barger put up a solid season, hitting 21 home runs and 32 doubles during the regular season. But it was during the playoffs that he really showed up.

Across 17 games, he batted .367 with three home runs and four RBIs. He did a much better job of getting on base and drastically reduced his strikeout rate.

This provides a lot of optimism for both him and the franchise as they are looking to weather the loss of Bo Bichette and once again compete for a World Series. Those kinds of goals require leaps from multiple spots in the lineup, and Barger has demonstrated he has it in him to be one of those factors.

Daulton Varsho

While in Toronto, Varsho has demonstrated his ability to be a 20 homer, 20 double Gold Glove-caliber center fielder. In 2025, he was limited to just 71 games but nearly set a career high in home runs in half the games. He showed much more consistent power and carried that into the postseason, where he hit three home runs, four doubles and a triple across 18 games to become a big factor in Toronto’s World Series chase.

This season will be a chance to see if he can put both his offense and defense together at the same time and be the kind of impact player the Blue Jays hope he can be.

George Springer

Springer had a resurgent 2025, putting up a Silver Slugger season with 32 home runs, a career high .309 batting average, a career high .560 slugging and yet another clutch postseason performance.

Entering his age 36 season, the question will be if Springer can repeat it. Primarily serving in a DH capacity will allow him to focus on where he made his impact the most last season, which was at the plate.

Springer is a huge veteran presence on this team and intangibly makes them so much better because of his experience.

Trey Yesavage

Yesavage pitched in just three games in the regular season before announcing himself to the world in the Blue Jays playoff run.

In the regular season, it was just three games at the end of the year but he looked good. He went 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA and 10.3 strikeouts per nine.

But in his first start in the playoffs against the Yankees, he pitched 5.1 no hit innings with 11 strikeouts and one walk. He got beat up in Game 2 of the ALCS against Seattle, then bounced right back with a win in game six before appearing three times in the World Series.

Yesavage now gets a chance to start the season with the big-league club. With solid veteran pitching around him, he will not carry the expectation of leading this staff. He’ll get the chance to learn from one of the game’s best in Max Scherzer, who just signed a one-year deal with the club.

Biggest Blue Jays Rivalries in 2026

The Blue Jays have two primary rivals: the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners. That’s in addition to rivalries with their main AL East foes, the Red Sox and Yankees.

Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees

With the Red Sox and Yankees, the Blue Jays have often played the third fiddle in their quest to win the AL East and, ultimately, a pennant. For more than 20 years they fell short, but in 2025 they beat both clubs in the playoffs en route to their first World Series appearance since 1993.

These three teams will once again be duking it out for the AL East and the American League pennant.

Detroit Tigers

The Tigers and Blue Jays are an often-overlooked regional rivalry. Separated by less than four hours by car on ON-403 and 401 West, this American League rivalry dates back to the 80s when they were both in the AL East and often competing for the division title.

With the Tigers now in the AL Central, the rivalry has faded a bit, but these two teams will once again be competing for a playoff spot, which might be enough to reignite this regional rivalry.

Seattle Mariners

These two teams haven’t played each other often, but last season they met in an epic American League Championship Series with the Blue Jays defeating the Mariners in a come from behind series win in seven games.

Once again, the Blue Jays and Mariners will enter the season as World Series favorites, which might be enough to turn this rivalry into something more serious.
