PROTECTION PLAN PREMIER: Unlimited number of eligible non-DIRECTV entertainment devices. A $50 service fee applies for a repair or replacement on TVs, computers, laptops or tablets. Limit of one laptop battery replacement annually. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. There is a $2,000 per claim limit and a $6,000 claim limit per 12-month period.
Coverage for accidental damage 
Provides coverage for damage due to drops, spills, and for cracked screens for tablets and laptops.

What equipment is covered by the DIRECTV® PROTECTION PLAN?
The DIRECTV PROTECTION PLAN offers complete DIRECTV system protection, plus an upgrade to the latest equipment every 2 years. This plan covers all DIRECTV receivers, remote controls, connection/switches, dish antenna, wiring/switches, and dish antenna alignment. It includes 24/7 technical support and on-site repairs plus the cost associated with replacing defective equipment. So if your receiver or any other DIRECTV device stops working as expected for any covered reason, we’ll troubleshoot, repair, or replace it.
What equipment is covered by the DIRECTV PROTECTION PLAN PREMIER?

Entertainment devices and an upgrade to the latest DIRECTV equipment every 2 years. Receivers, remote controls, dish antenna, dish antenna realignment, associated cabling and switches; and an unlimited number of devices used to enjoy DIRECTV. Home theater systems, laptops, TVs, routers, and modems. LCD, plasma, and LED TVs. PC computers equipped with Windows XP or newer operating system; Apple computers equipped with Mac OS X or newer operating system; and other computers equipped with Linux OS with 2009 publication date or later. iPad® 2, iPad® Mini, iPad® Air, and Android™ tablets version 1.6 or newer. Technical support on mobile phones relating to your DIRECTV viewing experience; 3D glasses. If device stops working as expected for any covered reason, we’ll troubleshoot, repair, or replace it.

What is the difference between the DIRECTV PROTECTION PLAN PREMIER and coverage plans sold by retailers?

There are several advantages to this plan versus the typical plan sold by retailers. Features include:

1. An upgrade to the latest equipment every 2 years

2. Low monthly payment instead of a large one-time payment.

3. Computer coverage includes computers, laptops and tablets, plus selected accessories.

Will my devices be repaired or replaced under the DIRECTV PROTECTION PLAN PREMIER?
