Premium channels

DIRECTV offers 31 premium movie channels, including 7 HBO^® channels, 12 Starz^® channels, 9 SHOWTIME_® channels and 3 Cinemax^® channels. You can add them to any package other than Lo Maximo™, which already includes them.

HD Channels

With over 130, DIRECTV offers more channels in HD than any other TV service provider, including the most sports in HD. When it comes to the HD channels you want, there's just no competition.
To access DIRECTV HD programming, HD Access fee ($10/mo.), a DIRECTV Slimline Dish, HD receiver, and HD television equipment are required. Number of channels varies by package.

DIRECTV on DEMAND

With over 4500 movies, shows, sports and more to choose from, DIRECTV on DEMAND gives you access to the TV entertainment you want — whenever you want it. This service includes tons of titles at no extra charge. You just need a DIRECTV Plus HD DVR receiver connected to the Internet.

DVR Scheduler

DIRECTV now gives you the freedom to program your DVR anytime, anywhere — using your web-enabled cell phone or computer. This feature is included in your DVR service.
Requires DIRECTV PLUS DVR (models R15, R16, R22), DIRECTV PLUS HD DVR (models HR20, HR21, HR23) or Tivo® Series 2 receivers with 6.4a software.

DIRECTV Active

Press ACTIVE on your remote control to get instant access to weather, horoscopes, lottery results and more. You can also find out about special DIRECTV promotions and see what's playing on Pay Per View.
For full Mix Channel and interactive functionality, a D10 (or later) model interactive DIRECTV Receiver is required.

Interactive Weather Channel

The Weather Channel now offers a ton of new interactive functionality including Local on the 8's, which gives you the in-depth weather info you need to plan your day. Get updates six times an hour or just click the red button on your remote to see a menu of interactive weather features.
For full Mix Channel and interactive functionality, a D10 (or later) model interactive DIRECTV Receiver is required.
