Players to Watch: Chicago Sky vs. Seattle Storm

Chicago Sky

Natasha Cloud — G. Cloud runs the Sky offense from the point, averaging 5.0 assists and 28.5 minutes a game. Her ball security stands out too, with just 2.2 turnovers a night, making her the steadiest hand in a Chicago backcourt that has cycled through lineups all season.

Kamilla Cardoso — C. Cardoso controls the paint for Chicago, pulling down 8.6 rebounds a game with a 5.9-to-2.7 split between the defensive and offensive glass. She’s the Sky’s primary rim presence when a possession breaks down and a second shot is needed.

Azura Stevens — F. Stevens gives Chicago a scoring option out of the frontcourt, averaging 11.0 points a game on 41.0% shooting from the floor. She’s reliable from the stripe as well, converting 78.3% of her free throw attempts, which keeps possessions alive when her jumper isn’t falling.

Seattle Storm

Dominique Malonga — C. Malonga leads Seattle in scoring at 17.4 points per game on an efficient 50.7% shooting clip. She also crashes the boards at 8.7 rebounds a night, giving the Storm a two-way threat in the middle.

Natisha Hiedeman — G. Point guard duties fall to Hiedeman, who distributes at 4.8 assists per game across a team-high 29.7 minutes. Her 2.2 turnovers a game keep the Storm offense from bleeding extra possessions late in the shot clock.

Awa Fam — C. Fam rounds out Seattle’s frontcourt rotation with 5.7 rebounds a game, split 3.8 on the defensive end and 1.9 on the offensive glass. She gives the Storm a complementary low-post presence alongside Malonga when extra possessions on the boards matter most.
