‘Neagley’ Full Cast & Characters: Who’s in the ‘Reacher’ Spinoff

One of the draws to Amazon’s hit action-thriller Reacher is that each season thrusts Alan Ritchson’s titular character into a new high-stakes investigation in a new locale, with a mostly new cast of characters. But fans know that through the first three seasons, there was always one recurring cast member that Jack Reacher could always call in a pinch: Maria Sten’s Frances Neagley, his close friend and former member of his military police unit, the U.S. Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.

Neagley quickly became a fan favorite after she was introduced in Season 1, and Season 2 explored her backstory in Reacher’s unit in more depth as a key plot point as members of their unit began being mysteriously picked off one by one. Reacher brought her into his investigation of an arms-trafficking ring in coastal Maine. But in Reacher Season 4, which took Reacher into the hustle-and-bustle of Philadelphia to investigate a political conspiracy, Neagley was nowhere to be seen.

That’s because Amazon gave the character her own show, Neagley, which premiered on Prime Video on Sept. 16, 2026. Wondering who’s in the cast of Neagley, and whether Jack Reacher himself will make an appearance? Here’s our complete guide to the cast and characters of the Reacher spinoff.

Cast & Characters of ‘Neagley’

Here’s a look at the full cast and characters on Amazon’s new Reacher spinoff, Neagley.

Maria Sten as Frances Neagley

Known for: Reacher, Swamp Thing, Big Sky

The titular series heroine herself, Maria Sten steps back into her role as former military police officer-turned-private investigator and key Jack Reacher ally Frances Neagley.

Neagley was one of Reacher’s most trusted reports in the 110th Special Investigators unit. After the unit was disbanded, she leveraged her experience into a career as a private investigator, working and living in Chicago. Neagley always picks up the phone when Reacher calls for an assist. Having learn the trade from Reacher himself, she’s a highly competent investigator in her own right and can hold her own in gunfights and hand-to-hand combat. Neagley was pivotal in helping to close out three of Reacher’s previous investigations on the show.

Neagley kicks off when Neagley catches wind that a childhood friend of hers has died, and the death is being considered accidental. But anyone who’s watch any of Reacher knows that’s almost certainly not the case. When she finds a message that her friend left behind, she heads to an isolated communal farm to get to the bottom of things. While Neagley’s focus is on her present-day investigation, the plot also dives deep into her own early life.

Jhaleil Swaby as Tommy Crane

Known for: Supergirl, The Lake

Tommy Crane is the childhood friend whose death Neagley is investigating. His story is told progressively, as Neagley peels back the layers of the circumstances around his death after finding a lead in a message he left for her.

Grayson Holt as Detective Hudson “Rats” Riley

Known for: The Night Agent

Detective Hudson Riley is a Chicago detective who had been previously a member of one of the city’s most notorious crime families, hence his nickname, which is both a taunt from his colleagues and a constant reminder of his past. He’s constantly trying to escape that past and joined law enforcement in part as a 180-degree pivot to redeem his family’s name.

Once Neagley begins her investigation, Riley sees his opportunity to prove himself as a real cop and becomes a key ally, if a hesitant and wary one at first.

Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle

Known for: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat II

Renee is Neagley’s colleague at her PI firm. She’s officially an administrative assistant, but dreams of becoming an investigator like Neagley. She latches onto Neagley’s investigation of Tommy’s death and joins Neagley and Riley, viewing the case as an opportunity to cut her teeth in the field.

Jasper Jones as Keno

Known for: To Die For, King Ivory

Keno is local street criminal who was a witness to Tommy’s death, knows it was more than just a suspicious accident and has key information she needs to help solve it. Though Keno’s checkered background and abrasive personality make him seem more likely to impede or stonewall Neagley at first, she quickly realizes that he has an uncanny ability to blend in and street smarts can help her get into places that she would normally not be able to. As the series goes on, he becomes a core member of her crew.

Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow

Known for: The Sopranos, The West Wing, Teen Wolf

Woodrow is an entrepreneur who is working develop an experimental psychedelic treatment. The drug, he claims, has the potential to provide great therapeutic benefits, but under the surface, he’s secretly conducting unethical testing on vulnerable populations. His pharmaceutical project is one of the principal threads connecting Tommy’s death, Echo Canyon and the wider conspiracy Neagley uncovers.

Peter Outerbridge as Arvid Rawlings

Known for: Saw IV, Cool Runnings, Lucky Number Slevin

Rawlings is a powerful global biotech mogul who secretly runs a vast criminal empire, complete with an army of mercenaries at his disposal. He gets a bit hot under the collar when Neagley’s investigation begins to threaten his interests.

Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole

Known for: Justified, The Tourist

Cole is the leader of Echo Canyon, the remote communal farm that Tommy’s message leads Neagley to investigate. In typical cult leader fashion, he’s equally parts charismatic and shadowy. He holds the farm up as a refuge for people in need, but it quickly becomes obvious that something more nefarious is going on within the community and Cole knows more than he’s letting on.

Rebecca Liddiard as Judith Gray

Known for: Fargo, Departure

Judith is a member of the Echo Canyon community and the farm’s operations director. Neagley figures out that Judith, too, is in on the behind-the-scenes activity at the farm, and that she needs to find a way to get that information out of her.
