DIRECTV NAMES INDUSTRY-VETERAN AMY LEIFER AS CHIEF ADVERTISING SALES OFFICER
Leifer to Lead and Oversee Dedicated Advertising Division for DIRECTV
New York, NY (April 1, 2022) Today, DIRECTV appointed Amy Leifer as its Chief Advertising Sales Officer. In this newly created role, Leifer will lead the team focused on ad sales solutions across DIRECTV and DIRECTV STREAM. She will report directly to Bill Morrow, CEO, effective April 1.
The integration of the DIRECTV ad sales business is part of DIRECTV’s overall strategy of returning to a singular focus on providing a premium video experience. DIRECTV Advertising will deliver addressable, digital, and data-enabled media solutions across screens for brands and agencies.

Amy originally joined DIRECTV in 2011, where she led the transformation of performance-based media and digital practices, and later launched and scaled the DIRECTV addressable advertising TV offering. In addition, she held leadership roles at Xandr (Executive Vice President—Operations and Services) and most recently WarnerMedia (Executive Vice President—Pricing, Planning, and Operations), gaining deep expertise in both the technology and content sides of those businesses.
