The Giants and Dodgers close out a four-game series Thursday night at Dodger Stadium, with Los Angeles looking to take the rubber match at home. San Francisco is scheduled to start Landen Roupp, who enters at 5-3 with a 3.09 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 51 strikeouts over 43.2 innings. Los Angeles counters with Emmet Sheehan, who enters at 2-1 with a 4.79 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 43 strikeouts over 35.2 innings. At the plate, Heliot Ramos has been one of San Francisco’s steadier run producers, batting .272 with four home runs and 20 RBI. For Los Angeles, Andy Pages has supplied strong production with nine home runs and 35 RBI. Shohei Ohtani is not scheduled to pitch after throwing seven scoreless innings Wednesday, but his recent form remains one of the bigger Dodgers storylines.
