Spencer Rattler — QB. Rattler ran the New Orleans offense in the preseason finale tuneup, completing 14 of 23 passes for 141 yards with one interception in his most recent appearance. He’s using these final exhibition snaps to make his case in a suddenly competitive quarterback room, and clean decision-making matters more than gaudy totals this time of year.
Kendre Miller — RB. Six carries for 22 yards was the workload Miller drew in his last preseason look, modest volume in a New Orleans backfield still sorting out its pecking order behind the starters. Every touch counts for a runner trying to lock down a roster spot before cutdown day.
CJ Donaldson — RB. Out of the backfield, Donaldson turned four catches into 51 yards in his most recent preseason outing, carving out a receiving role that separates him from the other backs on the roster bubble. New Orleans has a real reason to keep him in the mix at the position after that kind of work catching the ball.
Jackson Sirmon — LB. Eleven tackles led the New Orleans defense in Sirmon’s last preseason showing, a workmanlike number that keeps a linebacker in the conversation on a roster still deciding its final depth spots. Preseason finales are often where backups make their last impression, and Sirmon’s tackle total is hard to overlook.

Joe Milton III — QB. Milton completed 9 of 13 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns in his latest preseason action, numbers that put him squarely in the mix for the backup job behind Dak Prescott. With the Cowboys’ starters likely to see limited snaps in this exhibition finale, Milton gets one more extended look to close out camp.
Jaydon Blue — RB. Fifteen carries went to Blue in his most recent preseason outing, and he turned them into 75 yards, a workload that suggests Dallas wants a real look at him in the running back rotation. Volume like that late in preseason often signals a team trying to find out what it has before the games start counting.
Camden Brown — WR. Brown made the most of a light target share, turning two receptions into 77 yards in his last preseason game. That’s the type of return a receiver on the roster bubble needs heading into final cuts.
Sam Williams — LB. Williams added a sack in his most recent preseason appearance, giving the Dallas pass rush evaluation one more data point heading into the finale. A productive night off the edge could go a long way toward solidifying his role once the regular season begins.
