DIRECTV is our pick for the top live TV streaming service in 2026. As far as comprehensive live TV packages go, DIRECTV is comparable to other major services on price, but it offers the most regional sports networks and its Genre Packs cover just about every slice of streaming TV you could want.
Regional Sports Networks: DIRECTV carries the most extensive RSN lineup of any live TV streaming service, and the MyHomeTeam add-on for the DIRECTV MySports Genre Pack®. ($19.99/mo.) delivers in-market regional networks including Marquee Sports Network, Chicago Sports Network and Altitude Sports.
Streaming Plans & Bundles: MyEntertainment includes HBO Max Basic With Ads, Disney+, Hulu and AMC+. That’s roughly $30 per month worth of streaming subscriptions alone, plus the rest of the package’s 60+ live TV channels for $42.99 per month.
For $64.99 the DIRECTV MySports® Genre Pack includes the ESPN Unlimited Plan, which would cost $29.99 per month by itself. The DIRECTV MyKids Genre Pack includes Disney+ Basic at $20.99. No competitor bundles, streaming services, this well at comparable price points.

It also generally offers lower resolution than some competitors.

Best for Families: Hulu + Live TV
Hulu + Live TV has a strong offering on streaming bundles: Disney+, Hulu’s on-demand library and ESPN Select are all included, and Hulu + Live TV subscribers get the full ESPN Unlimited experience in-app. Those subscriptions run close to $20 per month each if purchased separately and having them all under one roof means you get the live channels, a deep on-demand catalog and tons of kids’ programming in one bill. (Keep in mind, DIRECTV also offers these services in many of its packages, too.)
Hulu + Live TV has its downside, however. It limits user to just two simultaneous streams at the base price, which is about as stingy as the category gets, and adding more with the Unlimited Screens add-on costs an additional $9.99 per month. It’s also not the best option for sports fans looking for local games: RSN coverage is limited, with New York, Los Angeles and Boston teams completely absent. And the free trial is only three days.
Hulu + Live TV is also now part of Fubo under Disney’s 70% ownership, and Disney is rumored to be preparing to fold Hulu’s on-demand library into Disney+ this year.

Lots of Channels: Fubo
Fubo carries roughly 190 to 200+ channels, including broad RSN coverage and ESPN Unlimited, making it among the services with the highest channel counts. Advertised counts include FAST channels, increasing totals. You can run 10 home streams simultaneously and get unlimited DVR, which are both generous. If you’re an international soccer fan, it’s got the strongest soccer programming on the list.
What it doesn’t have is some of the most popular networks and channels: No Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN, TBS or TNT. It also used to be one of the cheapest options, but that’s no longer the case.
