2025 Latin GRAMMY Awards Watch Guide

2025 Latin GRAMMY Awards Watch Guide

Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 13: The 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® will take place at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This year’s ceremony will be a vibrant showcase of Latin music’s past, present and future, bringing together chart-toppers, legends, production powerhouses and newcomers in one place. With Latin music’s global impact soaring, this event promises glamour, surprise moments and genre-spanning performances you’ll want to be watching.

The ceremony will be broadcast on Univision at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and it will be preceded by a one-hour pre-show at 7 p.m. ET.

Tune in to Univision with DIRECTV. Don’t have DIRECTV? Let’s change that!

Hosts of the 2025 Latin GRAMMYs

This year the stage will be fronted by two dynamic hosts: Maluma and Roselyn Sánchez.

Maluma, the Colombian superstar known for his reggaeton and Latin-pop crossover hits, steps into the hosting role for the very first time at a Latin GRAMMY event. With 20 career nominations and a Latin GRAMMY win already under his belt (Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album for F.A.M.E. in 2018) he brings both musical cred and stage comfort.

Roselyn Sánchez is returning for her eighth turn as host of the Latin GRAMMYs, reinforcing her status as one of the ceremony’s most trusted emcees. A Puerto Rican actress, singer-songwriter and producer, she is maybe best known internationally for roles in Without a Trace and Devious Maids. She’ll lend her trademark stability and polish to the night’s proceedings.

Latin GRAMMY 2025 Performers: A Global, Genre-Spanning Lineup

With performers announced across pop, regional Mexican, urbano, legacy acts and fusion styles, this edition of the Latin GRAMMYs is set to be a panoramic musical journey. Confirmed performers include major names such as Bad Bunny, KAROL G, Alejandro Sanz and Carlos Santana, as well as iconic figures like Gloria Estefan and rising talent like Elena Rose.

These performances underscore the Latin music ecosystem’s range: from established stars to fresh voices, from salsa and mariachi to trap and alternative. Expect some stellar collaborations, visually bold staging and musical moments that span generations.

Top Nominations and Major Contenders

When it comes to nominations, one name is leading the charge: Bad Bunny tops the list this year with 12 nominations, including major categories like Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Following closely behind are the Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso and the Mexican songwriter-producer Édgar Barrera, each securing 10 nominations.

Among the Album of the Year contenders, you’ll find heavyweights like Gloria Estefan, Alejandro Sanz, Natalia Lafourcade and Elena Rose—names that reflect both legacy and the cutting edge of Latin music.

Check out the complete list of nominees below!

What to Expect from the 2025 Latin GRAMMY Awards

Look out for these stand-out elements of this year’s Latin GRAMMYs:

  • Spanish singer and performer Raphael will be honored as the 2025 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year.
  • The mix of performers and nominees spans legacy acts (Santana, Estefan) alongside younger voices and international crossover artists—signaling that Latin music is both rooted and forward-looking.
  • With nominations rising for producer-songwriters and new genre categories (like Roots Song and Music for Visual Media), the awards reflect deeper industry shifts—recognizing the creative engines behind the performers.

Put simply, this year’s show is shaping up to be a celebratory moment that captures where Latin music is now and where it’s headed.
