The 2026 world soccer tournament will be one for the history books. For the first time ever, the competition expands to 48 teams and 104 matches across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Matches will take place in 16 host cities, with the opening match set for June 11, 2026 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The final match lands on July 19, 2026 at MetLife (also known as New York New Jersey Stadium) in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
