She converts at 87.9 percent from the free-throw line, meaning there’s essentially no safe way to foul her in a close game.
Georgia Amoore — G. Operating as the Mystics’ primary playmaker, Amoore dishes 4.0 assists per game in 24.1 minutes, keeping Washington’s offense running in the half court. Her 2.3 turnovers per game are the byproduct of an aggressive style, not carelessness, and she generates enough open looks for teammates to keep defenses from keying entirely on Citron.
Shakira Austin — C. Austin is one of the better defensive rebounders in this matchup, pulling down 8.7 boards per game with 7.1 of them coming on the defensive end and 1.6 on offense. Her presence around the rim gives the Mystics a dependable second-chance threat and an anchor when opposing post players attack.

Brittney Griner — C. With Van Lith, Rivers, and Morrow all out, Griner becomes Connecticut’s most important player tonight — an interior presence who can score and protect the rim when she’s engaged. Aaliyah Edwards — F. Her efficiency from the floor has been a consistent positive in a difficult Sun season, and her ability to rebound and operate in the post gives Connecticut a second option when the Mystics collapse on Griner.
