What is ‘Tin Soldier’ about?
Tin Soldier is a gritty action thriller about loyalty, power and the scars of war. The story follows The Bokushi (Jamie Foxx), a charismatic but dangerous cult leader who recruits disillusioned veterans into his militant community. When his former disciple Nash Cavanaugh (Scott Eastwood) is drawn back into The Bokushi’s orbit, government operative Emmanuel Ashburn (Robert De Niro) sees an opportunity: send Nash inside to dismantle the movement from within.
As Nash struggles with his own trauma and the pull of The Bokushi’s ideology, the film weaves tense action sequences with psychological flashbacks. The result is a dark, sometimes dreamlike narrative about broken soldiers searching for purpose, and the thin line between redemption and destruction.
