What Is Curated Multiview?
Curated Multiview brings together live sports matchups in a single view, scheduled around what’s on that day. Each Multiview features live games from networks already included in your package, laid out together and ready to watch. There’s no separate channel to dig for: when a Multiview is available for the game you’re watching, you’ll see a “Multiview” button in the video player. Simply select and start watching! And when those matchups end, that Multiview goes with them.
You’ll only see Multiviews built from networks included in your package and games available in your area — so the Multiviews that appear are ones you’re eligible to watch.
Curated Around the Biggest Games
DIRECTV’s sports team curates each of these Multiview around two ideas: marquee matchups fans may want to follow together and themed slates built around the day’s action. That could mean an SEC Saturday lineup one weekend or a collection of NFL games airing across CBS and FOX on Sunday. Multiviews are planned around the sports calendar, with more available on stacked sports weekends and fewer on quieter days. Themed live sprots Multiviews can also return throughout the season with new matchups.
How Is Curated Multiview Different From a Mix Channel?
DIRECTV’s existing Mix Channels aren’t going anywhere. Those always-on channels bring together a set lineup of live networks in one place, making it easy to keep an eye on sports, news, weather and more.
Curated Multiviews work differently. Instead of occupying a permanent spot in the channel guide, they’re built around specific live sporting events.
