Carolina comes to Philadelphia having already seized control of this series. The Hurricanes shut out the Flyers 3-0 in Game 1 and then edged them 3-2 in overtime in Game 2. They now carry a 2-0 series lead into a building that will be desperate for any kind of response.
Philadelphia needs to find offense against a Carolina team that has been stifling on both ends: The Hurricanes have surrendered just five goals through two games while generating sustained pressure that has kept the Flyers off balance. Logan Stankoven and Taylor Hall have been two of the most productive players in this postseason run, with Hall carrying a point streak into Game 3 and having scored in every single postseason game so far.
