2026 American League playoffs: What Fubo is missing and how to watch every game with DIRECTV

Four teams remain in the American League playoffs, and their next two rounds will decide who reaches the World Series. For fans watching on Fubo, there’s a major gap ahead: Fubo doesn’t carry the 2026 American League Division Series (ALDS) or American League Championship Series (ALCS). DIRECTV has every game with an eligible package.

Both rounds air on TBS with simulcasts on truTV, neither of which is available in Fubo’s channel lineup. DIRECTV carries both networks, so fans can follow the action from the Division Series openers through the game that clinches the American League pennant.

Below, find the remaining American League playoff schedule, confirmed game times and how to watch on TV or stream with DIRECTV.

How to watch the 2026 American League playoffs

TBS and truTV carry every ALDS and ALCS game. For fans who want to stream, the DIRECTV MySports® Genre Pack® includes both channels. Sign in to the DIRECTV app on a compatible device and tune to either network at game time. DIRECTV’s CHOICE Package and higher-tier Signature packages also include coverage.

Which American League teams are still in the playoffs?

The Division Series matchups are set:

• Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Guardians

Chicago and New York advanced from the Wild Card round, eliminating the Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox, respectively.

Each ALDS matchup is a best-of-five series. The winners meet in the best-of-seven ALCS, where four wins secure the American League pennant and a World Series berth.
