Obliging Young Lady

Precocious young Bridget Potter (Joan Carroll) is sent to an island resort with Linda Norton (Ruth Warrick), an employee of her father's lawyer. The two pretend to be sisters to avoid publicity regarding the impending divorce of Bridget's parents. Also vacationing at the resort is Red Reddy (Edmond O'Brien), a writer who had a brief chat with Linda and has become obsessed with her. When Linda's jealous fiancé, Charlie (Robert Smith), and others start showing up, things get fascinating.
