Finishing School

After her mother (Billie Burke) sends her to boarding school, Virginia (Frances Dee) learns it's okay not to follow the rules, as long as you don't get caught. Influenced by her rebellious roommate, Cecilia "Pony" Ferris (Ginger Rogers), the girls escape to New York for a weekend away. While there, Virginia meets and falls for a poor man, Ralph McFarland (Bruce Cabot). Headmistress Van Alystne (Beulah Bondi) hinders the affair, but the young couple refuses to stop seeing each other.
