Esperanza: The Movie

A tragedy separates Esperanza (Judy Ann Santos) from her mother and siblings as they were traveling to Manila. Right after the dreadful incident, Esperanza is adopted by a humble driver, while her sister and brother were adopted by a cruel mayor and a fisherman separately. But despite the loving relationship she shares with her foster father, Esperanza, however, continues to suffer in the hands of her surrogate mother-who, later on, manages to send her away.
