The Miniver Story

Kay Miniver (Greer Garson), the plucky English mother who kept her family together during the privations of the Blitz, finds she has to battle even harder to care for them after the war. Complicating this is the newfound wanderlust of her husband, Clem (Walter Pidgeon), and the romantic entanglements of her daughter Judy (Cathy O'Donnell). Worse yet, Kay learns that she has a fatal heart condition and thus little time to sew the splitting seams of her family back together.
