Rich, Young and Pretty

When Elizabeth Rogers (Jane Powell) travels to Paris with her father Jim (Wendell Corey), a wealthy Texas rancher, she falls under the spell of Andre Milan (Vic Damone), a young Frenchman. Forgetting all about her boyfriend back home, she throws herself headlong into a seemingly doomed cross-cultural romance. Meanwhile, Marie (Danielle Darrieux), the Parisian mother she never knew -- and always thought was dead -- hears of Elizabeth's arrival and plots to meet her against her father's wishes.
