Cesar

The third part of Marcel Pagnol's "Fanny Trilogy," this drama follows café owner Cesar Olivier (Raimu) as he works to reunite his godson, Cesariot (André Fouché), with his biological father, Marius (Pierre Fresnay). Since Marius is actually Cesar's estranged son, Cesariot is both Cesar's godson and grandson, a secret that the boy's mother, Fanny (Orane Demazis), reluctantly reveals. When Cesariot finally meets Marius, he begins to learn the truth about his real father.
