When a body turns up in the net of a local fisherman, a connection is drawn between two murders and it may lead the detectives to Layla's remains; Line suspects that Wisting has been intimate with the head of the care center.

Wisting and his team are alerted to a horrific crime scene in Larvik, where the severed head of a young asylum seeker is displayed on a spike in the middle of the town square; FBI agent Maggie Griffin returns to investigate the case.
