For 23 years John has worked as a government trapper, wildlife biologist and district supervisor in the Federal Wildlife Services Program. Many of those years involved trapping year-round to resolve coyote and beaver damage to livestock and property.

Traveling to the Adirondack Mountains and caught up with George & Laurie Keith, who were chasing marten, otter, beaver and fisher. In two days, we probably checked over 100 traps in some of the most beautiful country in the US. Ride along with us.

Gage's numbers continue to climb today. It's been a terrific experience as he explains how he has grown as a muskrat trapper, the things he has learned, and how seasoned a trapper he has become in just 2 years since we were with him last.

Gage is now a high school senior and still traps passionately whenever not in school. It's become a fire that never extinguishes. In this episode Gage runs a 60+ mile muskrat float line on public rights-of-ways around his hometown in South Dakota.
