Alyssa Thomas keeps Phoenix’s offense moving with 8.0 assists per game against 3.4 turnovers, while Julie Vanloo gives New York a steadier 5.4-to-2.4 ratio in fewer minutes. Alyssa Thomas — F. Few playmakers in the league log the kind of minutes Thomas does, and her 33.9 per night give her every chance to dictate tempo. She’s averaging 8.0 assists against 3.4 turnovers, a ratio that keeps Phoenix’s halfcourt sets honest when shots aren’t falling.
Natasha Mack — F. On the glass, Mack does the dirty work that keeps possessions alive, pulling in 8.4 rebounds a game with 3.3 of those coming on the offensive end. Her 5.1 defensive boards round out a frontcourt presence Phoenix needs against Stewart and the Liberty interior.
