New York Mets

Juan Soto — LF. Soto leads the Mets with a .299 average and nine home runs while driving in 20 runs from left field. His blend of contact and power makes him a central focus for Washington’s pitching plan.

Bo Bichette — 3B. Bichette has 25 RBIs and five home runs while hitting .225, slotting in at third base as a middle-of-the-order producer. His run-driving numbers stand out even as the average has come in below his usual line.

CJ Abrams — SS. Abrams is hitting .300 with 10 home runs, 42 RBIs and a .539 slugging mark as the engine of the Washington offense from shortstop. The .389 on-base percentage and a top-of-the-order role put him in front of Washington’s biggest power threats.

James Wood — RF. Wood has 13 home runs and 34 RBIs on the year while hitting .254, giving the Nationals their primary source of pop in right field. His home-run total leads a lineup that has hit 61 long balls as a team.
