The Miami Marlins bring a 46-41 record into Coors Field to face a Colorado Rockies team that sits at 34-53, one of the worst marks in the National League. Miami has been one of the more pleasant surprises in the NL this season, sitting five and a half games back in the NL East division, while Colorado continues to struggle at the bottom of the NL West, 22 games behind the division leader. Liam Hicks has been the engine of the Marlins offense all year, catching his way to 53 RBIs and 13 home runs with a .283 average — numbers that make him Miami’s most productive run producer at the plate.

Otto Lopez — SS. Lopez leads Miami with a .332 batting average, a mark that ranks as one of the best contact figures in the NL this season. He adds a .365 on-base percentage and a .484 slugging percentage, making him a threat from the top of the lineup to start rallies and add extra-base damage in the middle innings.
Colorado Rockies
Hunter Goodman — C. Goodman has been Colorado’s standout power bat all season, leading the Rockies with 27 home runs and 50 RBIs while batting .243. At catcher, the combination of that home-run pace and run production makes him the one consistent offensive threat in a lineup that has struggled to generate runs consistently in 2026.

His ability to get on base at that clip gives Colorado’s offense a legitimate catalyst, even when the lineup around him has been inconsistent.
