Election night moves quickly, and with voters deciding the balance of power in Congress, there’s plenty to follow as results come in. Election HQ on DIRECTV brings live results from The Associated Press and coverage from four news networks together on one screen, helping you follow the outcomes as they unfold.
Returning for the Nov. 3 elections, Election HQ makes it easier to keep up with developing results and compare network coverage. Here’s when and where to find it on supported DIRECTV devices.
What is Election HQ on DIRECTV?
Election HQ brings together two ways to follow election night: an interactive election results experience powered by The Associated Press and a four-channel HD news mix.
Live election data from The Associated Press feeds into the interactive experience, helping you track reported results as votes are counted. Alongside those results, the news mix lets you watch four networks simultaneously on one screen:
- CNN
- Newsmax TV
- MS NOW
- FOX News
With reported results and multiple networks’ coverage together, you can follow the national picture while keeping an eye on how different newsrooms are covering election night.
Why watch the 2026 midterms with Election HQ?
The Nov. 3, 2026, midterm elections will put all 435 U.S. House seats, 33 regularly scheduled Senate seats and 36 governorships before voters. With congressional and state-level races unfolding across the country, each result will help bring the national picture into focus.
Election HQ makes it easier to connect those developing results with the reporting and analysis around them. You can keep up with live election data while watching multiple networks explain what the outcomes could mean.
