Bosnia-Herzegovina meet Switzerland at SoFi Stadium with both sides sitting on 0-1-0 in Group B and badly needing a result. Bosnia-Herzegovina arrive at their first World Cup since 2014, a return earned by stunning four-time champions Italy on penalties in the UEFA playoff to knock out the highest-ranked team that missed the tournament. Switzerland come in as the steadier hand of the two, a side that reached the Round of 16 in 2014, 2018 and 2022 under the kind of tournament consistency Bosnia-Herzegovina are still chasing.
