The Ride: A Christmas Eve Parable

It's Christmas Eve in the suburbs of Chicago and a bored and disengaged taxi driver reluctantly accepts one more pickup. The cabbie prolongs the ride in an uncharacteristic attempt to connect and help his suicidal passenger.
