The Rains of Ranchipur

Lady Edwina (Lana Turner) and Lord Albert Esketh (Michael Rennie) share a passionless and unhappy marriage. When they travel to India to purchase horses, Esketh declares his intention to divorce Edwina once back in England. However, Edwina manages to find new love on the very same trip. First, she encounters Thomas Ransome (Fred MacMurray), a former acquaintance, and then she meets Dr. Rama Safti (Richard Burton). Initially, her attempts to seduce Safti fail, but soon a real love develops.
