Don't Fence Me In

Reporter Toni Ames (Dale Evans) comes to the Wild West in search of a story about notorious outlaw Wildcat Kelly and his money. The legends have it that Kelly has been long dead, but Ames suspects otherwise. Old-timer Gabby Whittaker (George "Gabby" Hayes) is willing to tell Ames what he knows about Kelly, which is a considerable amount, it turns out. Meanwhile, Ames starts to fall for Whittaker's partner, cowboy Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers), even though she doesn't feel at home on a ranch.
