Either Southern or Alabama State will grab the automatic NCAA bid awarded to the SWAC Conference. The Jaguars pulled the upset of the tournament by knocking off top-seeded Alabama A&M, while the Lady Hornets defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the semis.
