Expert bladesmiths and a Daoist grand master face a number of challenges, where a seax will be tested alongside a broadsword and a titanium sword.

A wakizashi, a parang and a sundang sword are used in the challenge.

The final two competitors move on to the punishing final course -- Dead Run.

David vs Goliath

The bladesmiths, martial artists and professional chef who made it through the punishing course once, return to face off in the winner-take-all final showdown.

$20,000 Dead Run

A medieval messer goes up against a traditional bolo knife; the fastest two competitors move onto the daunting final course -- Dead Run; only one will advance to the finale and the chance to win $20,000 and be crowned Knife or Death Champion.

Mutant Ninja Chickens

A Filipino kambantuli stands out; the two-handed Roman gladius could be too much to handle; a Persian-style recurve; the final two competitors go head to head on the daunting second course -- Dead Run.

Don't Fear the Recurve

Blades including a Roman gladius, an Oakeshott longsword and a modified bolo try to slice through the competition so that two of the competitors can go head to head in the final course.

Gladius Maximus

The final two competitors go head to head on the punishing second course, but only one can move on to the finale and compete for the chance to win $20,000.

American Choppers

A Yatagan Sabre hybrid and a two-handed Bowie blade compete; one of the female blade wielders tries to accomplish a "Knife or Death" first.
