Halloween Movies on Sale Now

‘Barbarian’ (2022) – $2.99 rental

A young woman arrives at a Detroit rental home only to discover that it has somehow been booked by another guest. What begins as an uncomfortable lodging mix-up gradually reveals that there is much more to the house than either visitor expected. Written and directed by Zach Cregger, the filmmaker behind Weapons, Barbarian is a twist-heavy horror movie that plays with expectations around strangers, trust and the dangers hiding just out of sight.

‘It’ (2017) – $2.99 rental

Based on Stephen King’s 1986 novel It, the film follows a group of kids in Derry, Maine, where children are disappearing and a terrifying presence has begun targeting them. Taking the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown (among other manifestations) the ancient evil feeds on fear itself. The film adapts the childhood portion of King’s sprawling novel, combining supernatural horror with a coming-of-age story about friendship, fear and growing up.

‘The Long Walk’ (2025) – $1.99 rental

Based on Stephen King’s 1979 novel, originally published under the pseudonym Richard Bachman, The Long Walk takes place in a dystopian America where teenage boys enter an annual endurance contest with brutally simple rules: keep walking or face increasingly severe consequences. The film uses its grim competition as the backdrop for a story about the young participants, the relationships they form along the road and the psychological toll of being pushed beyond their limits.
