No. 4 Ole Miss (3-0) at No. 21 Florida (3-0) — Game Preview
No. 4 Ole Miss brings a 3-0 record into Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to face No. 21 Florida, which is also 3-0 and puts its unbeaten start on the line in front of the Gainesville crowd. Both programs enter ranked, so the loser walks away with the first blemish of the season while the winner pockets a résumé win that carries real weight in the SEC race. Trinidad Chambliss has carried the heavier passing load for the Rebels, completing 77 of 110 attempts for 924 yards with 7 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
Aaron Philo has been sharper on fewer throws for the Gators, going 47 of 64 for 721 yards and 6 touchdowns against 2 picks, which suggests Florida leans on its quarterback more selectively. That balance owes plenty to Jadan Baugh, whose 458 yards and 8 touchdowns on 54 carries give the home side a ground game that can shorten the afternoon. Jayden Woods adds 3 sacks off the Florida front, and his ability to collapse the pocket could decide how comfortable Chambliss looks in a hostile setting.

Players to Watch: Ole Miss Rebels vs. Florida Gators
Ole Miss Rebels
Trinidad Chambliss — QB. Through three games he has completed 77 of 110 passes for 924 yards with 7 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Volume is the story here, and a Florida defense that wants to control tempo will have to find a way to keep him from settling into rhythm.
Kewan Lacy — RB. The Rebels’ lead back has turned 39 carries into 191 yards and 4 touchdowns, giving the offense a finisher near the goal line. His efficiency in short-yardage spots keeps drives alive when the passing game stalls.
Blake Purchase — DE. With 1.5 sacks so far, Purchase is the edge presence Ole Miss will count on to disrupt Philo before he can find his reads.
Florida Gators
Jadan Baugh — RB. Workload and production go hand in hand for Baugh, who has piled up 458 yards and 8 touchdowns on 54 carries. Feeding him early is the cleanest way for the Gators to keep the Ole Miss offense on the sideline.
Aaron Philo — QB. Efficiency defines his start, with 47 completions on 64 attempts for 721 yards, 6 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. If the run game is working, Philo gets favorable downs to push the ball downfield.
Jayden Woods — LB. A linebacker with 3 sacks gives Florida a pass-rush wrinkle that offenses have to account for on every down. Expect the Gators to move him around to create pressure on Chambliss.
