Cameron Edge — QB. The redshirt quarterback opened his season by completing 13 of 19 passes for 167 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Morgan State’s Week 1 win. His accuracy and willingness to push the ball downfield make him the engine of the Bears’ passing attack heading into Tempe.
Jordan Barnett — RB. Twelve carries for 114 yards and a touchdown is the kind of workload-to-production ratio that gets a season opener talked about, and Barnett delivered exactly that in Morgan State’s first game. He gives the Bears a legitimate ground threat to lean on against a Sun Devils defense making its own season debut.
Donovan Moyer — DL. Two sacks in one game signaled early that Morgan State’s front could be disruptive, and Moyer was the one making the plays. Arizona State’s offensive line will need to account for him early to protect its new starting quarterback.
