Lunch Winfield — QB. The Ragin’ Cajuns quarterback completed 16 of 22 passes for 189 yards in Louisiana’s season-opening win, and cutting down on the two interceptions he threw that day will be the priority against a USC defense in front of a Coliseum crowd.
Darrell Smith — RB. Ten carries went for 84 yards and two touchdowns behind Smith in Week 1, a workload that gives Louisiana a downhill complement to Winfield’s arm as the Ragin’ Cajuns look to keep pace on the road.
Avery Demery — CB. Demery already has a sack to his credit through one game, and the corner’s willingness to come downhill in run support will matter against a USC offense that has moved the ball in chunks so far this season.
