Georgia Southern Eagles
Max Johnson — QB. Johnson has given Georgia Southern’s offense a steady hand through the air, completing 28 of 39 attempts for 281 yards and a touchdown in the season opener. His accuracy set the tone for an Eagles attack that will need a similar workload from him on the road at Clemson.
Jamarian Samuel — RB. Four carries were all Jamarian Samuel needed to make an impact, turning that limited workload into 46 yards and a touchdown. If Georgia Southern can get him more touches, the Eagles have a genuine home run threat out of the backfield.
Chance Gamble — DB. Chance Gamble already has a sack to his name this season, evidence that Georgia Southern’s secondary can get home on the pass rush too. A repeat performance against Clemson would go a long way toward slowing down the Tigers offense.
