Tee Higgins — WR. With 154 receiving yards on eight catches, Higgins leads the Bengals in receiving and averages 19.3 yards per reception. He has drawn 16 targets with a long of 29, so he is getting volume and chunk plays at the same time.
Jonathan Allen — DT. Interior pressure has been Allen’s calling card in Cincinnati, where he has two sacks and four tackles for loss among his six total stops. Against a Pittsburgh offense that has struggled on third down, a quick win from the middle of the line can end a drive on its own.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Aaron Rodgers — QB. Through two starts, Rodgers is 47 of 79 for 408 yards with one touchdown and one interception. A 72.1 passer rating and 59.5% completion rate leave room for improvement, and a sharper day from the veteran is the clearest path to more points for Pittsburgh.
Pat Freiermuth — TE. Freiermuth has turned 10 targets into nine catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. That production ranks second on the team behind Max Hurleman’s 99 receiving yards, and his reliability over the middle makes him a natural target on the third downs Pittsburgh has been failing to convert.
