Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow — QB. Burrow settled in behind Cincinnati’s line to complete 25 of 35 passes for 254 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the season opener. He remains the engine of an offense that opened 1-0, distributing the ball to a receiving corps that already includes a red zone threat in Mike Gesicki.
Chase Brown — RB. Brown carried the ball 16 times for 56 yards and a touchdown, giving the Bengals a downhill complement to Burrow’s passing attack. His workload figures to grow as Cincinnati looks to control the clock on the road against Houston.
Mike Gesicki — TE. Gesicki led all Bengals pass catchers with 5 receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown, emerging as an early red zone weapon for Burrow. His size makes him a matchup problem for a Houston defense that has to account for him over the middle.
Jonathan Allen — DT. Allen recorded a sack in Week 1, anchoring the interior of a Cincinnati front that will look to disrupt Stroud from the pocket. His push up the middle can shorten the pocket for Houston’s quarterback and force quicker decisions.

C.J. Stroud — QB. Stroud went 26 of 38 for 274 yards and two touchdowns in Houston’s opener, the most productive passing performance on either roster so far this season. He now looks to get the Texans into the win column after an 0-1 start.
David Montgomery — RB. Montgomery punched in two rushing touchdowns on 20 carries for 60 yards, giving Houston a physical presence between the tackles. He projects as a key short-yardage option against a Cincinnati defense that will be tested at the point of attack.
Nico Collins — WR. Collins paced the Texans through the air with 7 receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown, establishing himself as Stroud’s top target early in the year. His rapport with Stroud figures to be central to any Houston response after an 0-1 start.
Jadeveon Clowney — DE. Clowney also got to the quarterback in Week 1, recording a sack that gives the Texans a veteran presence off the edge. He brings experience to a Houston front that will look to pressure Burrow and disrupt Cincinnati’s timing in the passing game.
