Last season Indianapolis piled up 227.8 passing yards per game against Baltimore’s 175.6, though the Ravens leaned harder on the ground with 156.6 rushing yards a game to the Colts’ 118.1, numbers that hint at two different offensive identities meeting in Week 1.
Lamar Jackson enters off a 2025 campaign that produced 2,549 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and a 103.8 rating, and he will need that efficiency against a Colts defense anchored by Laiatu Latu, who racked up 8.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss a year ago. Jones, for his part, threw for 3,101 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2025 while completing 68.0% of his passes, giving Indianapolis a passer capable of matching Jackson possession for possession.
Derrick Henry remains the other name to watch on Baltimore’s side after rushing for 1,595 yards and 16 touchdowns last season, and Jonathan Taylor answers for the Colts with 1,585 yards and 18 touchdowns of his own on the ground. Zay Flowers is questionable to start the season for Baltimore, while Indianapolis lists Alec Pierce, Josh Downs and Tyler Warren all as questionable heading into the opener.
