Third Man on the Mountain

Adapted from the novel "Banner in the Sky," this film follows Rudi Matt (James MacArthur), a young man on a mission to honor his father. In the golden age of Alpinism, his father ascended the highest peak their Swiss village had to offer, the lofty Matterhorn. But, after he's killed in the brutal climb, his son decides to take up his banner and endeavor to conquer the mountain that claimed his father. He will not be deterred -- not even by the desperate pleas of his loving mother.
