The Spoilers

Striking gold was the easy part for Alaskan miner Roy Glennister (John Wayne). The real battle is fighting off a posse of greedy, corrupt politicians. Chief among them is Alexander McNamara (Randolph Scott), a gold commissioner who says that Roy's claim is illegitimate. Helping Roy defend his livelihood is sultry saloon girl Cherry Malotte (Marlene Dietrich), whom McNamara also lusts after. These conflicts of interest will likely get settled in the usual way: an epic saloon brawl.
