The Lieutenant Wore Skirts

Successful scribe and decorated veteran Gregory Whitcomb (Tom Ewell) is ordered to reenlist in the U.S. military, so his spouse Katy (Sheree North), a former participant in the Women's Army Corps, resumes her old post to be closer to him. Unfortunately, Gregory's been sitting behind a desk since World War II ended, and he soon learns he's too out of shape to serve. Now, as Katy searches for a loophole that will free her from the Army, Gregory haplessly tries to take her place on the home front.
