Home designers Tara and Percy have been using the living room of their farmhouse as their sole living space for so long that it has a lot of clutter and mess; it's finally time to renovate, and it's proving to be overwhelming.

It's summer and time to work on the outside of the house; Tara and Percy paint it a beautiful off-white and enlist the help of friends to build a garden greenhouse; Percy's mom visits to help with the landscaping.

Winter has arrived and it's getting harder to stay warm; Tara and Percy install storm windows to keep out the cold; they renovate the guest and main bedrooms in preparation for a visit from Tara's mom; they struggle stamping a pattern on the walls.

While Tara and Percy get the house ready for the holidays, they renovate the bathrooms; they attempt to make their own tempera paint, but have trouble translating the Swedish directions.
