Lydia and Ruby cannot seem to see eye-to-eye, with their disagreement continuing through the first monsoon of the season. Maggie's health keeps declining, with the result of her final wish remaining uncertain.

Lydia and Ruby butt heads as they visit a convent, and Lydia becomes too involved. She interferes with the life of one of the nuns, causing trouble within and outside of the convent.

Ram and Lydia clash on the day he is due to attend a lavish Indian wedding. Ruby's patient from the UK has a story that doesn't quite add up.

Good Karma Hospital is overtaken by Holi festival. Ruby forms a connection with an abandoned baby. An aging ex-pat artist can't escape the effects of his life choices. He becomes reacquainted with Lydia.

A mysterious and attractive man is found washed up on the shore. The crew must rush to help a local snake catcher. Gabriel's conduct is questioned by Ruby. She visits a school and is asked out by a teacher.
