Bo and Kyle take a trip to Michigan Tile & Marble, to source salvaged stone, pavers and granite remnants for their outdoor space; Bo maps out curved gravel pathways while Kyle pours the concrete pad for the future outdoor kitchen.

Woodward Throwbacks

The Backyard Blueprint

Bo and Kyle build a 12-foot banquette clad in salvaged white oak parquet flooring, paired with an elm table and vintage restaurant chairs to create a dining nook; they start their largest project to date: designing a massive backyard oasis.

Designed to Dine

Bo and Kyle transform their kitchen into an entertainment hub; centered around a custom 12-foot prep island built from salvaged Lincoln factory timbers and topped with soapstone, the room balances rich textures with local history.

The Reclaimed Kitchen

Bo reveals the transformation of the Mystery on Mack's living room, where industrial history meets modern design; the team turns salvaged metal panels into a stunning feature wall framed by an elevator door from a historic Detroit building.

Rust, Relics and Relaxation

On the first floor, Bo and Kyle create a spectacular custom freestanding bar with a dramatic feature wall; combining Japanese craftsmanship with Detroit history, this one-of-a-kind bar transforms the past into a modern entertainment space.

Raising the Bar

Woodward Throwbacks owners Bo and Kyle acquire Mystery on Mack, a 4,000-square-foot Detroit warehouse that they intend to make their personal home; following intense months of demo, they reveal their first space: a minimal, character-rich bathroom.
