When Ella discovers the Help Center has fallen into disrepair, she talks Curtis into lending the church money from their savings to fix it up; the couple soon butt heads over the fastest way to get their money back.

It looks like someone is occupying the old Caskey house; Curtis enlists C.J. to help him investigate it; when Curtis alerts C.J., Lisa overhears and adds fuel to the fire, stating she saw some suspicious activity happen outside that house.

When Ella learns Curtis went behind her back and put Miranda on a $500 budget to plan their wedding renewal, she debates whether she should marry Curtis all over again.
